China Tang is delighted to announce the launch of ‘Tea at Tangs,’ a fresh take on Afternoon Tea. Available Monday-Friday between 2.30om - 4.30 and served in the bar. The decadent tea features savoury and sweet dim sum treats, alongside refined desserts created by the pastry team. Our first ever Afternoon Tea pays homage to our late owner, Sir David Tang, and is served in the Bar, often referred to as an extension of Sir David’s private living room.
Highlights include dim sum served in traditional bamboo baskets, butterfly prawn toast and vegetarian spring rolls; alongside stunning pastry creations, such as egg custard tarts and Mandarin Delight.
The food offering is complemented, by a selection of 11 Chinese teas carefully curated by Jade Tea especially for China Tang. Highly recommend as an optional extra are the tea cocktails served in hand painted glass tea pots, or a chilled glass of Champagne.
