Chinese New Year
Whilst the rest of London winds down for January, we are continuing with lavish celebrations as we enter the Chinese New Year. With 2020 marking the Year of the Rat, we have laid out an evening to match the charm and outgoing nature of the zodiac.
On both Friday the 24th and Saturday 25th of January, we will be offering an eight-course banquet menu, featuring China Tang’s hallmark Cantonese classics, as well as opulent specials, playing tribute to the fortune and success of the Rat. Guests will also be able to indulge in our full Dim Sum and A La Carte menu options across the period.
From our Park Lane entrance, descend into an artfully decorated haven of 1920’s Shanghai glamour, with walls adorned with spring blossom and red lanterns, a bespoke installation courtesy of The Dorchester’s designer florist, Philip Hammond.
The showmanship does not stop there; guests on these evenings can expect an exclusive performance of the Lion Dance, an iconic Chinese New Year ritual, bringing good luck and prosperity. We look forward to seeing you for an unforgettable and auspicious evening!
The Chinese New Year Banquet Menu along with Chef Fong’s Specials will be available for pre-order in both The Bar and Main Dining Room, and in our Private Dining Rooms for tables of over 12 guests.
